John conducts workshops for educators who are interested in ways to engage students in learning by creating a cooperative classroom with the workshop participants as students. The workshop is higly interactive. Strategies are modeled by the instructor and experienced by the participants. In addition, a complete set of handouts describing the strategies is supplied for each person.
.
.
For years, the workshops have provided valuable help for teachers who will be teaching in a block schedule with extended periods. Teachers desiring to create a cooperative learning environment will especially appreciate the experience.

Are you feeling stagnant or burned out? Past experience has shown that teachers who use the strategies presented in John's workshop can be renewed. In addition, many teachers have experienced an increase in their students' performance on high stakes testing. Participants have been thankful they chose to attend John's workshops!
